EMERGENCY SERVICES

If you believe you or a loved one is experiencing a potentially life-threatening medical issue, you should call 911. But we do offer treatment for many medical emergencies. Our board-certified emergency physicians and other Malta Med staff can collaborate in real time with specialists across the Albany Med Health System. We also have a heliport and an ambulance bay for those who require critical care transport.

IMAGING SERVICES

Malta Med has comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical imaging services right on-site, including Diagnostic X-ray, Low Dose CT Scan, MRI, and Ultrasound.

LAB TESTS

Our lab services include blood work, glucose and cholesterol screening, urinalysis, microbiology tests for bacteria, viruses and other organisms.

PHYSICIAN & OFFICE RESOURCES

For physicians: If your patient was seen at MMEC for Emergent Care and/or Outpatient Services, records will be sent to you within 72 hours, unless ordered STAT.
